Wouldn’t have anything HOOVER about me. Cheap, rubbish tech that will fail just outside the warranty. Buy cheap…buy twice!

there are probably thousands of people who don't experience this, judging by the reviews which are on the most part positive. Perhaps you need to calm down

I've got this and it's absolutly crap.
I'm definitely getting rid of it and spending a little more on a better brand.
On a positive note it cooks pizza well..... thats it!

Code Multi10 gives 10 percent off 2 or more appliances but don't know if the codes can be stacked? Worth a try. (edited)

10% on one item ran out on 11 April so the extra discount code isn’t valid.

    Doesn't say anything about a £100 M&S card, either...

I had to fix my electric oven by replacing the switch unit that sits behind the mode turn knob. The oven came with my house but I didn't know there was a right and wrong way to turn an electric oven on. There is and you need to turn the mode knob first then move the temp dial. When you turn off you need to turn the temp dial off and switch the mode off. A lot of people just leave the temp dial at like 200c. Then every time you turn the oven on and cycle through modes your putting a lot of strain on the switch and it ends up burning out the switch. A year on from replacement of the switch the oven works as good as new. Many would have bought new. (edited)

Are you Jon Richardson? Do you have any advice on loading dishwashers? Seriously though - this is good advice. I had exactly the same issue and didn't realise this until I needed to change the switch. Sadly, the oven in question is in a holiday let I own and herding cats is a far easier task than trying to explain something like this to someone who is in holiday mode.
I was tempted with this over but reading the comments above. I think I'll pass.

Confused, is it a hoover or an oven?
    slimjimjim80's avatar
    Both!
But it's not a vaccum cleaner

Hoover = Candy = Haier. Avoid entirely.

Go with an AEG oven, which is Made in Germany and very close to this price.

People still use these when they have air fryers???
    oneijim's avatar
I can't fit a pizza in my air fryer.

Fwiw I know technicians who hate this pyrolytic trend, it's the cause of so many issues. There's a reason ovens don't get that hot normally but manufacturers just force it through because of marketing. Doesn't even work that well anyway judging by the state of my parents oven. (edited)

I use mine 2-3 times a year and it is brilliant - but also heard it is the cause of lots of failures
