IT'S SCANNING AT £27.50 AT BOOTS!
HOPE THIS HELPS ANYBODY. I JUST BOUGHT 1! 😃

Was worried as minimum setting is only 0.6. (edited)

I've got these, 0.6 is the lowest without the guard, low enough for me though.

How does this compare with the Philips 7000 series?
    Ouzoherb's avatar
Philips has greater range of cutting lengths I think

Best clippers I’ve ever owned. Still going strong since covid, brilliant purchase with an amazing cut every time (edited)

Would they be good for really thick hair?

Paid 40 quid may 2022 just as a comparison but everything has gone up in price in that time.

Sharp cut. Battery life is fantastic, love that you can use for ages in cordless mode. Have cut with and without the guards with no probs.

Have bought numerous cheaper clippers costing around 15 to 20 quid in the last 20 years from brands like Remington, Philipps and babylis and these are hands down the best . (edited)

Amen, let’s hope for a win later 🙌🏼

Best set of trimmers I've owned. The charge lasts ages, and lots of cutting lengh options. Paid £40 last year but still worth it at this price.

Hands down the best trimmers I have ever used by far!

Does anyone know how this matches up with the Philips 9000? Any idea which one is better? Below are the ones I am referring to

I have these, best clippers I've owned. The 0.6mm setting is low enough for me, and the battery life is insane.

Online it shows as £50.99 on the boots website. So does it scan to £27.50 in-store?

My partner purchased these after the good reviews etc. First clippers he's ever had. Can someone explain how the 5 setting taper work. The lowest guide is a 3mm. So say you want to cut hair to 1.5mm how do you achieve this. Thank you
    George_Roper's avatar
Use the knurled dial around the middle, that will adjust the size up from 0.6mm

No tapered guards for round the ears?
  18. FilledSoda's avatar
Just to confirm, the rotating part for adjustable length, does that work in the same way as a lever traditionally does? So you can get different lengths within the comb guides for a fade? For example it's not just a 13mm guide and 16mm guide you can get in-between those lengths.

Highly recommend these over those cheap plastic ones from Philips. Cuts really well, charge lasts for ages and really sturdy make. Love them.
