Product Description The Big LANDMANN ceramic charcoal barbecue from LANDMANN is a Kamado grill. The easiest way to recognise it is by its special, egg-shaped design. The really outstanding thing, however, is the ceramic material of the grill, which provides incredible insulation and heat storage without temperature fluctuations. When the lid is closed, very little heat is lost, so the ceramic charcoal grill from LANDMANN can ideally maintain a temperature of up to 400°C. In addition, you can regulate the supply and exhaust air and thus optimally control the cooking process of your grilled food. And while it's very hot inside the device, it stays wonderfully cool on the outside - so you can't burn yourself. With the additional grill grate made of stainless steel, a second grill level can be created so that you can cook even larger meals without any problems. The sturdy side tables offer enough storage options and can be easily folded down for space-saving storage. The Big LANDMANN comes with a grill trolley including four rubberised, lockable rollers, so you can comfortably push it to the right position in the garden or on the patio.

Looks like you can add a heat deflector plate for £20 from here. brandalley.co.uk/175…tml

Would check with them first for confirmation it is definitely compatible with this model first though

I'm sorry but do these cost that much to manufacture? Extortionate price from what I'm seeing of the materials used.

Mega profits as it a couple of large terracotta pots on legs with a few extra bits. Price should be around £200 based on what you get. But you can say the same about boating.

I would recommend you go with the Costco Louisiana 60cm over this, better warranty, fibreglass heat seal.
Great size and extremely similar to the Kamado Joe

I have the Aldi Kamado. It has a 45cm cooking surface and cost c.£400 a couple of years ago. I think they maybe a bit cheaper. Identical to this as far as I can see and included the heat deflector.

How do these compare to kamado joe?

It's much of a muchness compared to Joe classic 1 model.
Joe classic 2 & 3 has additional accessories, but way over priced and overrated in my opinion.

Been looking into these. Any views on Kamadoe Joe vs Big Green Egg? And where to get them at best value?

I got the Louisianna Grill (same thing really) from Costco last year. Around £550 and is a great piece of kit. It should come down at some point to the 550-600 mark. costco.co.uk/Gar…ill
