    Do not do it, third party versions about to explode onto the scene and you may just get a 1tb versions for this price, so if you waited the last 3 years then what is a few extra months, your wallet will thank you.

    3rd party copies have been talked about for ages. Seagate are rumoured to be selling a version soon but I doubt 3rd party ones will.

    There is a 3rd party CFexpress to NVMe M.2 adapter but as mentioned above it works with one specific drive (the same drive that comes in an Xbox) but by the tijme yo ubuy t the adapter and the NMVe drive it about the same as buying a "proper" card.

    Just dipped to a new retail price of $89 in the states, I'm hoping when they announce the new retail price in the UK it'll be lower than £89

    It should be atleast 2/3 of that by now imo, I get these are proprietary so will always incur additional cost but even at £60 it'd allow for that margin (on this particular size ofc). Considering you can get similar speed 1tb for around £60 it's not too much to ask even slightly
