    I've been looking into ANC headphones for a while and I was wondering, is it worth buying these if I'm going to be using them wired 99% of the time at home on my desktop PC? I'm not much of an audiophile, comfort would be nice since I wear headphones a lot, and the noise cancellation would be great to silence fan noise when I'm playing games. I also looked at the Sony XM4s but apparently the EQ is funky when in wired mode. (edited)

    Probably not. There are plenty of ANC gaming headsets and they will have better mics. Turtle beech pro and SteelSeries pro have some ANC, however they will not be as great as these for ANC. However they will give a better gaming experience.

    Tempted by these. I’ve been using QC35 since 2016. Still going strong but may be time to retire them. For me, the Bose QC line is the most comfortable out there for headphones by some distance.

    If it’s going just keep it going. I’ve seen the ear pads are the only bit which wears down and can easily be replaced

    These are the QC45 with a soft case that’s the only difference. They even show as QC45 when you connect via Bluetooth. They are fantastic headphones in my opinion.
