OK, so I have NO clue about this sort of thing, but I'm looking for a simple plug/play 4TB external HD for backing up some media (Movies, Music and Photos), and this seems to be the best price I can find.

Any comments welcome.

Huge StorageWith 4TB of capacity, the Intenso hard drive offers plenty of room for your music, photos, videos and important documents.

ConvenienceThe hard drive is ideal for backing up your private data and can be taken along anywhere due to its low weight. Thanks to its small size the hard drive can be stowed away easily and therefore taken anywhere.

DesignThe high-gloss memory case offers lots of storage space and ensures the highest data transfer rates thanks to its USB super speed 3.0 port. The HDD receives power through the included USB cable.

Yes, but it will be a slow process transferring them back and forth. Will play PS4 games off it fine though.

Decent enough brand, not sure what make of drive is inside - but they do the job.

This is how much the price of an equivalent ssd size is supposed to be so that people can use the word cheap as I see often mentioned here. So if this was a 4tb ssd then I will call it cheap as manufacturer want us to switch from hdd to ssd.

You can usually get a 4Tb from Western Digital Refurb for under £55.
Like the ones here but they don't have any stock at the moment.
Also Prime Day is coming in July, if it's not an Urgent purchase.

Seems a little steep - I got Seagate 5TB ones one a deal in here a while back for less. Of course I don't have a time machine, so I guess heat for this deal as it seems the best price currently...

I am in the market for a new drive as my external Toshiba is causing Windows to report a USB error. I shucked it and it appears it's a SATA hard drive with a SATA to USB adapter! The drive seems to spin up just fine (I need to find my other 3.5" caddies to test it!). The USB adapter seems to be bad as it doesn't should up in Windows...
