    It has what looks to be the same Combi Drill, 3Ah batteries and a compact impact driver for the same price, Have an idea I might get the chain saw in the future, so 2x5Ah would be useful.

    I don't know how much Torque means to my diy work, as I constantly see dewalt combi drill comes with much higher Torque, for example 65 vs 50

    Good bit of kit for DIY with decent battery capacities. I've added a few other tools to match. One thing though I think the Ryobi has a far wider range of accessories and if I was starting again I would probably go that way.

    I wouldn't start with Ryobi. You could buy a battery adapter and use Makita battery on Ryobi tools. However, it would be much harder to adapt Ryobi battery to other tools.
