    Personally, would go for a DCD796 kit, much tougher drill all round with a superb multidirectional light and 2000rpm top speed for clean holes or masonry. Powertoolmate doing a kit with 2x 5AH for thirty quid more. Or even the single 5AH kit for £137.99 which I would still prefer, as those 5 amps last for ages on these.

    Cheers, after quite a bit of YouTube and review reading I’ve opted for the DCD796 with 2x 4.0ah with the current 10% voucher on eBay it was only a couple quid more than the DCD709 from Toolstation

    Have you copied the wrong specs? It doesn’t give 190nm of torque, it’s 65nm (you may have put the spec from the impact driver)
