I’ve been this hotel a few times . It’s rooms are huge and comfortable. The breakfast is really good and great access on international drive and very close to universal. Only downside is pool is freezing although have rooftop pool which is lovely with fantastic views

Great price. But the US is very expensive now to what it previously was. Eating out and even buying groceries to prep your own meals has gotten very expensive. It’s not helped by the poor exchange rate. We have been multiple times over the last 7/8 years and really noticed this last summer when we last went.

Are you able to provide some examples for eating out / supermarket? Rough prices?

We used to go regularly late January into early February and it was lovely and quiet. The weather was a bit hit and miss but we always had enough warm days to enable us to visit the water parks.

Decent deal. Flights are to MCO not Sanford or Melbourne like the charters - both a long way from the theme parks. From memory, the Ramada Plaza is basic but I see a continental breakfast is included (normally means toast/muffins, cereals, yoghurt, coffee, juice drink) so that will save a few more £'s.
December can be hit and miss weather wise. One day it is 17-22 degrees, the next day 0-5 degrees. It literally depends on the direction of the wind that day!
Florida these days is very expensive for theme parks, eating out and drinking, be warned.

Scorching deal that.. We are going for 10 nights with BA 31st of Jan to universals dockside for £817pp and I thought that was cheap.

January is one of the quietest times for Disney (that's comparative though, the park is always some level of very busy). Watch out for the weather though, it's incredibly unpredictable in Florida in the winter, varies between pleasantly warm and literally freezing
