sorted byNow I understand this won't be for everyone but this is what the guy said I could do to get the discount, and looking at the contract, I see no reason why this won't work for me. I also apologise in advance if this makes no sense.
As an O2 customer he sold me the ulimited data plan for £28 per month, as this is a large plan he was able to apply a £200 discount to the Pixel 7 at £387 making it £187 as a retention deal. As soon as it arrives I can call up and pay off the £187 for the phone, the contact states I have the right to early replayment in all or part at any time. So he said the idea is, get the phone, call and pay it off then terminate the contract. For information the monthly works out as contract £28 plus phone £5.20, a total of £33.20. The rep said the only thing holding you in to a contract is paying off the phone, which at this point, I would have done so I'm free to cancel.
