    Decent deal. End of updates for Chrome OS is showing as June 2026 so a good few years of support left

    Great spec for the money. Only thing I don't like about this is the hinge design. Wouldn't like this in my lap for extended periods.

    It’s actually ok as the hinge doesn’t tip back that far on this model. It’s not like some with an inch or so drop-down, only few mm at most depending on the angle so it doesn’t feel like it’s digging in. It might be best in the keyboard back mode.

    Excellent touchscreen Chromebook for anyone who wants one, with 8GB RAM, good IPS 1080p display and AUE til 2026. Nothing else comes close for this price. Doubt they will last long.

    There's usually a micro SD card with CB. Ideally larger internal storage but I at this price... I can't argue too much.

    Anyone also use this as second screen for laptop? I think 14' is good for that for my travels

    Just buy a dedicated USB C monitor unless you know this works, I can’t recall seeing anyone use it for this.

    Same processor as the highest-end Surface GO 3 model. It sucks on that, but Chrome OS is much more lightweight than Windows, so it should be quite snappy for this.

    Go 2 uses this, Go 3 has the i3-10110Y and it’s fine - much better than the 4415Y and 4425Y that lack Turbo Boost.

    Their entire website needs an overhaul. That is clearly a backend issue where they need to untick a box. There are other problems where the item weights don’t add up correctly in the cart and searches don’t return stock items.
