Pro tip: you can take any slightly larger soft luggage and not fill it completely, in unlikely case you will be asked to put it to the dimensions check basket, it will fold nicely.

honestly, with sizes being this small now, your'e better off with a rucksack. It's by far the easiest style of cabin bag to carry around.

Agreed; had one for a couple of years now. Does OK for long weekends though the strap isn't the most comfortable on the shoulder when the bag is rammed full They are pretty well put together.

Someone puked in the aisle last time I flew Ryanair and the cabin crew refused to clean it up. We all had to step over it as we left the plane.

Some really good advice here. I people watch a lot in airports. I've noticed if you have a backpack on and it isn't too large. The Ryanair staff usually allow it through.
