Pro tip: you can take any slightly larger soft luggage and not fill it completely, in unlikely case you will be asked to put it to the dimensions check basket, it will fold nicely.

No need to buy this awkward bag

honestly, with sizes being this small now, your'e better off with a rucksack. It's by far the easiest style of cabin bag to carry around.

Bought one of these a few months ago. It lasted one trip and fell apart. Very cheap and nasty.

Ditto. The zip failed on the outbound flight, and the handle broke on the return trip. Total garbage.

Ok until they reduce the size again. We will have to go naked before long and pay extra for underpants and a seat.

Don't you have to pay extra for a seat already?

Agreed; had one for a couple of years now. Does OK for long weekends though the strap isn't the most comfortable on the shoulder when the bag is rammed full They are pretty well put together.

Stick with a backpack that isn't too big and never get stopped. Stay away from bags held in the hand if you want to sail through

Depends on the airport as twice in a row at Gdansk I’ve seen the gate staff check more or less anything that looks bigger inc backpack

Someone puked in the aisle last time I flew Ryanair and the cabin crew refused to clean it up. We all had to step over it as we left the plane.

Some really good advice here. I people watch a lot in airports. I've noticed if you have a backpack on and it isn't too large. The Ryanair staff usually allow it through.

This retailer supposedly specializes in cabin baggage.
Yet they don't have a single "WizzMax" bag at maximum Wizz free dimensions of 40x30x20cm.

Bought one just like this before, broke apart on the journey back, going to stick with soft shell backpacks.
