I know not everyone has access to this, but you can get a 2nd battery for £69 through Samsung EPP.

They say better than a Dyson V11, and almost as good as a Dyson V15. A Dyson V15 is like £500 lol. I'd never get a Dyson again anyway, it can't be just bad luck to have 4(1 my own, 2 parents, 1 from a friend who gave up with it) that have gone wrong even with battery changes.

Also Rtings is such a good review site. Actual proper testing of everything instead of just a reviewer using words which have no proper meaning and no proper testing.

I've had the Jet 70 for about a year now.

Use the medium setting the majority of the time and the battery has plenty of charge to do the whole house (standard 3 bed semi). I chose it because it scored good results on high pile carpet and had just got new carpet laid which is very thick. Couldn't be happier with it tbh. I don't feel it needs a 2nd battery unless you live in a very large house in which case you can likely afford one of the better models anyway.

Also... The clean station is very nice to have if you can get it at a good discount

how many years warrant is it, is it quite easy to get replacement under warranty with samsung for brushes and rollers , dyson was so easy , easily been sent replacement parts , never used samsung,Thanks

Samsung will claim that most things are wear and tear, and therefore not covered by their warranty. I can guarantee you the warranty service won't be a patch on Dyson's, but then again, the price is a lot less than a Dyson too.

Very hard to find replacement battery 🔋 or charger at reasonable prices unlike Dyson. Made for charging station which is not bundled . Good vacuum otherwise. I like my Eufy with 2 batteries , easy charging and old Dyson vacuum much better than this contraption from Samsung. More for people who only buy big brands than looking at utility. Always on sale on EPP student websites why people here always tell it is a great discount. (edited)

Thank you very much OP - purchased

Does anyone know if I need to prepare all the accessories (e.g. brush nozzles) for the old one I'm recycling? Just asking as I'm not sure if I have all of them.

The trade ins I think are being sent for disposal and so no accessories are not needed. Samsung even told me that the charging adapter isn't even required, although I still gave in mine as I no longer had anything to charge with it.

On a different note, just received mine, it looks quite nice and futuristic and good value for price but the build quality, plastics used and design (especially the dustbin disposal system) is a country mile behind the Dyson V10.

Seems a reasonable cleaner for £120.
As to the second battery, I bought my Beldray for same money with 2 batteries and I am actually quite happy with it. I don't use the second battery a lot and could have done without. It's actually a hassle to remember using the second battery from time to time, so it doesn't "go off". (edited)

Decided to go for this. It was between this and the Shark Corded Cylinder. The Shark one looks really good and comes with more tools especially Pet Power Tool and has 175 Air Watts (800 Watt power supply). However, I just know I will want a cleaner I can reach for quickly and us

The negative with this one is the low battery life on Max power. (edited)

Might actually buy this is my parents still have one of their terrible broken old dyson cordless vacuums in their attic. Battery life seems fine, sure its only 7 mins on max turbo mode but on medium it manages 25 mins easy apparently. On low reviewers have managed 50 mins but low modes on cordless vacuums is pointless. But yeah even 7 mins is fine by me, it doesn't exactly take long to vacuum unless you're doing like 6 rooms. I'll mainly be doing the living room, bedroom, and kitchen, which only takes 2 mins each max.

Not sure what people on here are doing with their vacuums lol. Don't need to do all the house at once either. Do half a day, like upstairs one day, downstairs the next.

I take it the trade in vacuum doesn't actually need to work properly? Because at £120 this would be a bargain.

I bought the complete from a Samsung EPP deal almost a year ago now for £124.50 and here were my thoughts compared to the Shark from the last deal: hotukdeals.com/com…936

Battery life has remained the same since owning it but to be honest with only 2 people living in the house, I only find that I need to vacuum once every week to once every couple of weeks so that would mean since August 2022 I've probably only used it 30 times at most
