Isolate is more highly processed / filtered, which leads to a higher protein percentage (90% vs 82% for unflavoured), zero fat (0% vs 7.5%) and due to lower amounts of sugars, much less lactose (making it more easily digestible for those with lactose intolerance).

Nowadays whey isolate is also ridiculously expensive, so none of the marginal differences like higher protein content make sense in the context of the price premium. The reason, I presume, people buy it (it's certainly why I buy it), is digestibility due to lactose intolerance.

Isolate is also not sticky when mixed with liquid, sticking in clumps on the sides and leaving residue on shakers. You can largely just rinse a shaker quickly under a tap and everything will come off with no residue (saves quite a bit of time over a 5kg bag).

Literally the same. Bought thinking it’d be chocolatey. How wrong I was. Think I’ll end up binning it, as I can’t enjoy the taste

Cheers - just gone for those as I saw them posted on another deal (mods deleted it). I mix mine with auger free jelly / natural yogurt to make a protein moose so the flavour should be tolerable!!

Maybe, wish companies would acknowledge bad batches because otherwise you end up with people adamant that it's the best thing ever and other who can't understand how that can be given it is the worst thing ever tasted. I know everyone's tastes are different but not so much that 50/50 split between amazing and terrible, unless it's marmite of course

Yeah definitely worth a pop, I hate the overly flavoured sickly sweet protein powders but this tastes subtle enough that it's not sickly and not overly sweet which is decent. Not the best I've ever tasted but an easy drinkable protein definitely (edited)
