Very tempted but from what I've read further drops could/should be coming?! If this was £200 then that is a no brainer, yeah?

The strix is £235 at awd with the two lots of cashback.

Good price! Rx7600 reviews are dropping today and it's expected to outperform this at similar price. I'D hold fire if you're in a market for a new GPU. Still voted hot!

Reviews are today? Some tech sites hinted they might be showing something later, but others said tomorrow. (edited)

Is the 6700 xt expected to drop in price?
    Czubaka's avatar
I don't see how this is going to happen. 7600 is really on par with 6650xt. And the new 4060ti faster but priced 40£ higher. They will drop eventually but i don't think it will be a price crash people had been expecting. You can get 6700xt for 350£ at the moment.

Say I pair this with an old 4690k and ddr 2 (yep, about 10 years old! But still going strong.) to replace my RX580. Bottle neck issues? Make enough difference to get decent VR? Or should I just upgrade the lot? Ta! (edited)

Major bottle neck issues and though maybe not enough PCIe lanes to take advantage of GPU. It might VR but decent depends on your perspective do you like low Res low texture

7600 out in days perform like this or bit better should be similar price if $269 msrp is correct.

RX7600 appearing tomorrow, rumoured to be $269 now and matches/beats this card. (edited)

You can get the 6700 for £284 on Amazon and that comes with 10GB VRAM. Heck, even the 6650XT beats it in some titles.. The 7600 is DOA
    Czubaka's avatar
6700 is fantastic gpu but that is sold and shipped from Amazon US with different warranty and potentially needing to ship back to US in case anything happens.

The 7600 doesn't look a upgrade on this
    S_Kelly's avatar
Yeah the 6650 XT seems to beat it in almost all benchmarks, and will cost less (XFX is £246).

I think for those using 1440p, like me, this 6650xt is better than 7600.

I'm still thinking for 1440p, the 6700xt is best value / about to be moreso, now, especially with 12GB Vram

Oooooo ... £250. Bought from OCUK and paid £20 more.
You win some, you lose some.
  12. Esfiha28's avatar
7600 is about 5-6% faster than this but will cost 10-20 more.

I would pick up a used 6600XT for ~£200 best bang for buck card on used market.
  13. Mr_robot0's avatar
Crazy price, this is so much faster than a 6600 not xt at the same price
    Czubaka's avatar
You're right about performance but 6600 nonXT is 60£ cheaper than this.hotukdeals.com/sha…039
  14. CroMoly's avatar
in a month will this be £200? I think it might..
    S_Kelly's avatar
The 4060 is July 23rd, so closer to that...maybe.

Some 7600 models selling for 259.99 which seems.better deal to me ?
    S_Kelly's avatar
Within 5% and the Asus 6650XT can be had for £235.

not a bad card. I would wait though

The quieter cooling of the MSI Gaming X is probably worth the extra cost over the Asus Rog v2 if noise bothers you. Also, supporting Asus marketing by doing a paid review for £25 is something i refuse to do. (edited)

You don't have to leave 5 stars review (if undeserved) to qualify for cashback
