    1) The PC market is in rapid collapse.
    2) 8GB GPUs are now worthless- Nvidia and AMD will disown this pitiful amount of VRAM for cards they want decent (>200) money for very soon.
    3) The 3060/4060/6600/7600 family are just too poor performance for decent AAA gaming going forward. The 3060TI should be anyone's minimum (or the 6700 family with more VRAM).

My one year-old 6700 has never used its extra 2Gb VRAM. Most 1080p-ers are on high refresh 24" monitors where High Res texture packs don't make much of a visual impact in this scenario. Just buy for today instead of what might happen two years from now.

Just £2 more on eBuyer if anyone has a preference, although Amazon solid. Is the cashback deal straightforward?

I think pretty much everyone would prefer Amazon over ebuyer.

    Wait for 4060

No thanks. Knowing Nvidia they'll put 6GB on that card and Huang will tell us 'the less VRAM you have the more you save'...

I'm not budging until the prices drop more, ideally I will purchase used (eBay) so the swines don't get a penny from me. So used prices need to be the follwing then I'll buy:

    - 6600 XT £175
    - 6650 XT £190
    - 3060 Ti £225
    - 6700 XT £225

Check the screen shot in the description, it is

A few pounds more (with postage) at ebuyer otherwise

How would you get the last of us? Haven't seen anything in the listing about this

I don't think amazon uk took part in this promotion - they give you a discount voucher for microsofts game pass instead

I just need a 1440p gpu for running d4 in ultrawide. Do i need more than 8gb ram for 120fps?
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
You'll struggle to get those framerates with a 1440pUW display unless you drop some settings.
Not just because of the DRAM, but the GPU itself.
    You'll pobably need something like a 6800, maybe a 6700/6750 XT. (edited)

Managed to get one from an eBay seller new for £215. Well pleased and a nice upgrade from my 1070ti. A good card for the money

mine was accepted by ASUS and was due to be paid out by 30th June and now they don’t even respond to any emails
