Zero fat and zero sugar it claims. Then further down states 0.25 and 0.1g respectively per serving. Ok it's very low but false advertising really. Good deal though so voted hot.

I think they're allowed to say zero if it's below a certain threshold. In this case, both are less than 1g per serving

How? It's a very clear, fruity flavour. Tastes like a strong juice. What didn't you like about it?

If your an Isolate fan it's a good price. Its a shame they are not bigger bags would've worked out a better deal. I stick to WPC but I've had this and it was really nice . They used to do a pineapple one which I loved.

Its whey isolate, not whey concentrate. Higher protein per gram, and no lactose for those intolerant. Isolate is more expensive as a rule - and clear whey even more so! This is a decent price, all things considered.

I started developing my own Whey Isolate to fix this exact problem. The thing is, I now understand why everyone just uses sucralose... Natural sweeteners available are stevia (tastes weird), Erythritol (linked to heart attacks) and MonkFruit Extract (costs upto £500 per kg + shipping and import taxes depending on concentration).

I'm going to give it a shot anyway, and have ordered the materials for a 1-tonne batch of Isolate sweetened with monkfruit - not sure if people will pay the higher price necessary though.

Out of interest, even if I could match current isolate prices (by selling at cost) and sell at £25-30 per kg - what would convince you to try a new product? Would the promise of a healthy sweetener be enough? (edited)

I am looking for something the best for my stomach, it doesn't need to be cheap. Any recommendations?

Best for your stomach meaning...? There are two things that can cause stomach issues in people, lactose (so you buy whey isolate only) and sucralose/sweetener (so you buy unflavoured and add your own flavouring via something like flavdrops or cocoa powder. Or you find a flavoured protein which uses sweeteners that won't cause stomach upset - like Monkfruit extract).

Regarding that last point...I'm currently developing a whey protein isolate product using MonkFruit extract (doesn't exist in the UK so far as I know). As an introductory price, it will be similarly priced to the one in the link - about £25 per kg - as I'll be selling at cost to begin with. Monkfruit sweeter is costing me £500 per kg imported - hence the high production price. If you're interested, I can ping you the link when we're ready to launch in a couple weeks.

On the fence. Not lactate intolerant (luckily), had normal whey and isolate before. Think I prefer isolate but that could have been the different brand (body&fit). Is there any real benefit to isolate over normal whey? I tend to use it 2-3 times a week post a hard cycling workout to stop my legs from aching and keeping me awake at night…?

As others have said you get a higher protein hit per gram with isolate and it’s purer in my view. I also tend to weight train 3x per week so would only use 3 servings per week. I’ve ordered 3 bags of pineapple as it will last me 3-4 months and could do with a fruity flavour in the summer months. I also tend to use normal whey in between meals and a higher calorie bulking mix before bed time. Stick to you macros and you’ll be fine. And this is a decent price for isolate from a reputable brand IMHO.

Good price. Think I payed £15 for the 15 (375g) serving tub from Amazon on a deal recently. This is much better.

It's not as clear or juice like as My Protein clear whey is and I've noticed on the packet it doesn't actually say clear whey.
Pineapple flavour is a bit lacking but it's good enough.

    How much a kilo!!!!
Even at the prices now for whole foods you’d get better value.
When did isolate get so expensive?!

Isolate has started to come back down. There was a period a few months back I was paying £140 for 5kg bags. Its dropped to £110 for the same bags now. MyProtein Isolate that is.

But yeah, inflation and brexit (a lot of it is imported) have hit protein hard.

I know a couple of folk who prefer beef isolate as they have problems with whey. Then say it's fine.
