    If I don't fancy using the codes for a while, are they safe? Ie, i'm not going to be told they're used/expired when I come to use them.

    Worked flawlessly for 12 month renewal. Here are steps required:
    Game Pass Expired on my account today.
    Bought 2 three month Gold codes. Redeemed them. Then another 2 three month Gold codes ... redeemed those (total of 12 months Xbold Live Gold).
    Then I bought the 1 month Game Pass Ultimate. Redeemed and left recurring billing on to get an extra month of GPU.
    Immediately turned off recurring billing. Gave me a total of 14 months Game Pass Ultimate.

    I bought the more expensive stackable 1 month game pass (£7.99), but don't know if that is necessary ... does anyone know if the non-stackable one (£6.49) also works with this?

    I think as long as you're not a current subscriber that the non-stackable one would work. Worth checking out ebay for codes as well in future, grabbed a 1 month ultimate to convert it all for my nephew's account yesterday for £5.20 on there.

    If you already have an active sub, 3 months XBL Gold will give you 50 days GPU.

    My son did the GPU conversion a couple of years ago and the current subscription expires in July next year. Does anybody know what would happen if I buy a few of these cards and then try to add them to the xbox account now. Will that add months to his xbox live gold once the GPU expires or will it just mess up the current GPU subscription? Thanks in advance for any help.

    Yeah let it run out completely and then apply the codes the day after and use a 1 month ultimate code to convert it all.

    No, this is for XBL Gold (only online play)

    If you want Game Pass, the cheapest way is to stack XBL Gold up to 3 years and then upgrade to GPU.

    Many thanks. Following the advice above I now have a subscription until the below date (was an expired GPU user). Total cost £21.97. This comprised of two £6.99 XLG codes from this deal and one GPU code at £7.99 obtained from the same site. Turned off auto renew as suggested too. Only selected it initially for the free extra month. For some reason I've managed to get an extra two!

    I did this the other day. I got one month free on the first gold redemption, and another one on the upgrade to game pass. But from my understanding it's fairly random.

    Feb 27? isn't that 3 and a half years if not just a little more - 3 years from today would be 28/05/2026.

    I can confirm the 3 years works flawlessly for me. 28th May 2026 is my expiry date.

    No, this is just for online play.

    You need Game Pass Ultimate (GPU) to access Game Pass on Xbox and PC.

    Let your current GP expire, buy Xbox Live Gold codes and then upgrade the membership to GPU.
