    100% agree… bought this exact model of Facebook marketplace brand new for £15… as soon as I’ve started using it I did regret lack of sliding :-/

    Neither. Try to buy a better brand second hand. Non sliding 210mm saws don't really cut much at all. By the time you have set up the cut you may as well have cut by hand.

    Be silly at this price not to buy it as a spare certainly for DIY projects - it even has some form of warranty. HOT.

    I bought one the other day as a backup to my Dewalt it is obviously okay for the money but cheap and nasty.

    I doubt we'll be seeing any compound saws for £30 any time soon. I remember selling my Lidl one for £10, working, about ten years ago. Vaguely. The guy paid in shrapnel, IIRC.

    They don't make them like that anymore.

    Have one tool from this brand....its still working but all of the plastic parts on it are already broken and cuts are nasty....blade guard stopped working on day one.
