This gpu gives most performance per watt of all tested gpus on guru3d.

I have this gpu, really not a problem to run. 750w psu will suffice.
Great performance. Playing death stranding at 4k max settings with higher fps than monitor can support (120) with no fsr/dlss shenanigans. (edited)

People were paying £1400 for a 3090 just last year. This performs better at rasterisation by about 10-15% and RT is the same perf. All for 50% of the cost.

Yup people complaining about it are stupid tbh. They don't realise this is 4k gaming, it's a new price tier for a higher end experience. 1080p gaming is cheaper than ever with more frames.

Personally I think PC gamers are one of the most entitled groups of consumer ive ever witnessed

Would you go for this or the Asus TUF? With the cash back it goes to £768

ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT OC Edition 20GB GDDR6 Graphics Card (PCIe 4.0, 20GB GDDR6, HDMI 2.1a, DisplayPort 2.1) amzn.eu/d/4…K2l

The ASUS TUF coolers on the XT and XTX are both huge and very good, they're very quiet on operation and allow for serious overclocking.
If you trust the cashback - and they will probably pay up - I'd go with the TUF.
If you can't be bothered with the cashback then go with this model. Make sure the TUF will fit your case as the cooler really is big.

Isn't VR still broken, with these cards aswell? I remember reading that in the most recent driver notes. (edited)

i can't believe how pricey these things are

    Agreed.

At this, might as well get a PS5 and save ££

Consoles are great for just turning on and playing. No config or messing around and troubleshooting nonsense and hours wasted frustration etc. JUST turn on, PLAY and have fun.

Of course PCs do MORE. But cards like these at these prices really are for GAMING mostly.

I have one of these. Great cards and a decent upgrade from my 3090 in the games I play

Ah just noticed no free game anymore. Got mine previously and was meant to get the last of us. Asked on live chat and after an hour of being transferred from team to team they refunded me 10%

Holy heck, I'd be happy with the 10%, that's awesome.

If your looking for a 7900XT I think the Hellhound with non-ref cooler is a better buy at £799 from OcUK,

If your just after a reference then this is perfect, heat added (edited)

I got mine last month. Love the reference design and looks. I’m not a huge overclocker and my games run sweet on ultra settings with high fps (edited)

For this price, in the current market, this is a good deal. I grabbed one on the previous £750 price point and it was good for that price point - about 14% less performance than the 4080 but at about 35% cheaper. It's not great at ray tracing, but neither is anything else at this price, and really, neither is the 4080.
It's a great card but I returned it for the XTX TUF with the ASUS cashback on it.

You’d have to pay £300 more for that experience on a PC but PC can do so much more (edited)

Won't be too much longer and this rDNA 3 6800xt replacement will be £599. Then it can drop from the price it should of been to start with! (edited)
