Any warranty? Looking for 3 to see us through the next few years etc
    Redbu11's avatar
I asked them on chat this morning...no reply yet. I may cancel and go for the lidl one which is smaller but returns are much easier and you get 3yrs warranty.

EDIT - just had a reply, you get 2 years with this. I may just keep this order.. (edited)

I phoned yesterday and was told they are waiting for 22 pallets to arrive and awaiting a date. I ordered on 23rd Many
  4. Redbu11's avatar
This is starting to look less promising. Every time I contact them the date gets pushed back, Now they dont even have a date for when their stock is due
    phantomx's avatar
Sounds to me like they're trying to get as many orders cancelled in frustration as possible maybe regretting promising to honor the misprice in the first place

May be shipped from EU.. Does that mean any postage duty to pay?

Does anyone have this specific model and can comment on how good it is? (edited)

I'm pretty sure any duty to pay has to be mentioned/declared before you buy. It may not come from the EU but they have some other AC units which state:
    • Please Note: *This product is supplied direct from an external Non-UK supplier. As a result, stock availability cannot be guaranteed. Delivery timescales are 7-10 working days.
But this product doesn't have it, however the estimated delivery dates for both units are the same

I can't find the amazon link to compare. Thinking of buying, does it look a good one?

  16. phantomx's avatar
Around £170 after Cashback seems a good deal slightly better than the upcoming lidl one
  17. Venkey's avatar
    Shipping cost is too much
  18. el0nmu5k's avatar
    It's 9K BTU instead of 10K.

This Deal is much Colder than the AC itself (edited)
  19. Choi_Quincy's avatar
why is it showing 370 for me
    phantomx's avatar
    Gone up in price
  20. LJB1790's avatar
Might've been another error. Let's see if they honour it. I didn't order one this time but seems strange that the others have gone up in price too, aside from the 7000 BTU one.
    Redbu11's avatar
Yeah could be another Wilko classic. I did order this one so let's see
  21. rosec's avatar
    Seems to be available again

I ordered mine on Monday evening, spoke to them via live chat yesterday, apparently they're expecting them next week and will then ship:

these are currently in extremely high demand and are on order from our supplier. They are due to arrive with us next week, so as soon as it's here we can get it sent out to you

I am just emailing you with an update regarding your recent order for the Air Con unit, we wanted to inform you that the price of this product was in fact a supplier pricing error which has resulted in these products being highly discounted, but rest assured as we will be honoring this error. Due to high demand and recent bank holidays in the UK, we are experiencing slight delays in shipping out the orders. However, please be assured that we are working diligently to get your order dispatched as soon as possible. Our aim is to have all the delayed orders, including yours, shipped out by the end of next week. We understand your anticipation and want to assure you that we are prioritizing your order to expedite the process.

Great customer service so far with a phone call and then 2 emails (as above), if they actually deliver too then this is a very well run business.

Delivered yesterday. I ordered this one before but unfortunately was dead on arrival, no spinning fan. They took it back by DPD. And reorder. Great company to deal with.
    hardikjshah83's avatar

  26. hardikjshah83's avatar

Anyone else struggling with the hose not fitting the attachments its doing my head in might have to tape it on
  32. phantomx's avatar
Having tested works fine but water leaks from bottom
    Redbu11's avatar
From the nozzle that you are supposed to attacha tube? Or somewhere else?
  33. dn852k4's avatar
Does this sound like it's operating correctly? On cooling mode the humidity in my room rises. When I select dehumidifier mode it reduces humidity as you would expect but also cools the room too.
    phantomx's avatar
I noticed this too in cooling mode a lot of humidity hence water leaking out of the unit if you don't open the drainage
  34. dn852k4's avatar
These are supposed to be a "Self-evaporating system" however I've found you don't get more than half an hours use on dehumidifier mode before it's flashing thay it needs emptying which is an awkward task given the location of the draining point. Surely a removable tank would have been easier?
  35. Sjh883's avatar
Mine was delivered on Friday and thus far I’m really impressed. I was a bit worried as many on here seem to laugh at anything less than 10K BTU but my goodness this machine kicks out freezing cold air aplenty and suitably cools my bedroom within an hour down to 18 deg.
    Sjh883's avatar
Mine doesn’t leak as per the comment below and I’m yet to need to empty the drain but I would agree a removable tank would have been an improvement
  36. dn852k4's avatar
Taken from the nedis website "Due to the sleek design of the air conditioning, it fits into almost any interior and with the automatic swing function you are assured of a perfectly proportional air flow and air distribution."

Automatic swing function is mentioned? But mine is in a fixed position. Is yours the same?
    Sjh883's avatar
    Mine is fixed position also
