UPDATE 23/5/23 2.54pm - BACK IN STOCK AT THE SAME PRICE.

If, like me, you have just received your My Lakeland Club (free to join) discount booklet there's a 20% discount code included which can be used on any item over £30 even already discounted items like this, bringing this down to a bargainous £159.99 - and with arguably the best 3 year warranty out there! *

Details here
lakeland.co.uk/inf…and

Thanks to @Umm_marwan for the heads up

UPDATE 18/5/23. You apparently get an immediate 10% discount code on MyLakeland sign up (the code booklets are not usually sent out immediately but are timed to be sent throughout the year.). IIRC Ive probably had 3 in the last 12 months.

Lakeland have been trading since 1956 (!) and have an excellent trustpilot score (based on almost 104,000 reviews!). They have 65 stores dotted around the UK which you can collect your order from if you prefer

4137630_1.jpg

Lakeland, like they always do with electricals they sell, are offering a free 3 year warranty on both these Ninja dual air fryers. 1 Year longer than John Lewis & Partners offer and 2 years longer than any other retailer I've seen. But it gets better. They allow you to return the item at any time within the 3 years if y0u aren't 100% satisfied - it doesn't even have to be faulty!

Ninja® Foodi® MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer AF400UK

Product number: 27205

If you thought air fryers were just about chips with everything – think again. The Ninja® Foodi® MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer can do so much more – it can even cook two types of food in two different ways, and have them ready at the same time. It’s also big enough to easily fit and cook a 2kg chicken in each of its drawers. And uses less energy and takes less time than cooking in your oven. You’ll also use up to 75% less fat to cook your food. How good is that?

Air fry juicy chicken breasts in one basket and roast some golden crispy potatoes to go with them in the other; or bake a cheesy tuna pasta melt in one side while using the Max Crisp setting in the other drawer to make some mozzarella sticks to snack on while you wait. And if they all have different cooking times and temperatures but you want to serve them together, it’s no problem, the Sync Finish will take care of it.

Just cooking for yourself? You can also use one drawer on its own.

Sync Finish

Timing is everything in cooking, and it takes a lot of trial and error to get right. But even the most reluctant of cooks will be able to serve up a variety of dishes without having to set multiple timers (what’s that one going off for again?).

With the Sync Finish function, Ninja’s clever Dual Zone Air Fryer will cook two different foods, using two different modes, with different cooking times and temperatures, and finish them both at the same time so you’re not left waiting for your burgers while your chips go cold.

Match the same settings across both drawers

Got some extra mouths to feed? Double up and use both baskets to cook the same food using the Match function – it will copy the same time and temperature settings across both drawers so they’ll be ready together, with no arguments over who’s got the better portion of fries.

Six cooking modes

  • Air Fry – Enjoy guilt-free fried favourites using little to no oil. From delicious chicken wings, fishcakes, burgers and sausages to chunky chips.
  • Max Crisp – Cook from frozen to crispy in minutes. From breaded scampi and chicken nuggets to golden French fries, onion rings and more. Perfect for quick, delicious dinners.
  • Roast – Not just for Sundays, enjoy your favourite roast meat, fish and vegetables any day of the week.
  • Bake – Easily cook pasta bakes, fish pies and flaky fish with crispy toppings, or enjoy freshly baked bread and homemade sweet treats, from muffins and brownies to cakes and cookies.
  • Dehydrate – Create delicious dried fruit snacks, from apple to mango, banana to pineapple. Enjoy homemade vegetable crisps, beef jerky, and even your own dried herbs.
  • Reheat – Restore leftovers to that delicious fresh-out-of-the-oven finish, perfect for reviving leftover pizza, quiche, spring rolls and more.

Easy to use and clean

The large digital control panel is easy to read and select which drawers and functions you want to use. The timer lets you check at a glance how long you’ve got to wait until dinner’s ready – it won’t be long, air fryers can cook a lot faster than a fan oven – and the large capacity 3.8 litre drawers hold enough to feed the whole family. There might even be seconds if you’re lucky.

Each non-stick basket and crisper plate is dishwasher safe for a clean-up that’s as quick as the cooking.

What’s in the box?

  • Ninja® Foodi® Dual Air Fryer AF400UK
  • 2 x 4.75 litre non-stick drawers
  • 2 x Non-stick crisper plates
  • Instruction booklet and inspiration guide

    Apparently it’s a unique code. WELCOME10 for 10% though
  3. fruit_bat's avatar
I couldn’t get the 20% only 10% but if you have BLC you can add that voucher to get an extra £10 off. So £169 for this I’m still very happy with!! (edited)

It's an absolute bargain taking into account the brilliant warranty Lakeland offer!
It pains me to think there will be people paying more for this from Amazon or Ninja Kitchen and getting the standard, pathetic 12 months warranty.

Thank you OP! If you have a BlueLightCard too you can get an extra £10 off. Got it for £149.99 in the end

Hi can you please explain to me all that you did to get it down to £150 thanks in. advance

MyLakeland is a wonderfully worthwhile signup.
I have my coupon all ready, but… strangely enough, for me, I don’t think two small (8x6 inch) base drawers are going to be particularly useful.
Even on this “big” version those drawers are small and deep. For 9.5 litres capacity claimed there is no more AREA than in the 6.4 litre Cosori Blaze with a single 9.5 inch square drawer! And while headroom is important for chicken roasting, it is not usable for general airfrying - area is what matters! And if you are trying to bake in one, then the size of cake/loaf tin that fits is what matters, and 8x6 is rather tight.
Tempted by the deal, which is definitely hot if you want this thing, but I think I’m going to pass this time. Still tempted by the price though… (edited)

If that's your concern go for the Instant Vortex Versazone. It has one massive basket but contains a removable divider and has two heating elements so can be used either as a twin fryer (with more space in each "basket" than a dual basket air fryer) or as one large fryer

Thanks OP I used my £5 voucher that came with the welcome mail along with the 20% discount.

Ninja now have a 2yr warranty and are allowing any purchase made from 1/1/23 to also be boosted to 2yrs.

Yes, just checked. Good that they are starting to see the light. I suspect the plethora of cheaper competing models with 3 year warranties have been taking sales from them.

They seem to send the discount booklets at certain times and not as soon as you sign up, I'm afraid.

Is this one better than the instant vortex plus dual drawers air fryer which is for £169.99 and of course you can use the 20% email code? Whats everyone’s opinion which one is recommended?
    deanos's avatar
i looked at a vortex one in lakeland the other day and found the pans were quite shallow, we cook quite a lot of joints in ours and they wouldn’t fit very well

WELCOME10 no longer works. I have the 10% off voucher from my recent signup but it needs to be used in store or over the phone. Hopefully they still have stock when the phone lines open in the morning 🤞

All this begging for codes lol....If folk aren't desperate for one this price will come up time and time again (if not better). Things have returned to normal with air fryers and the future will bring regular deals. Sign up and wait for your 20% and wait for the next good deal. Plenty of time - relax and when it's your time it's your time

Something tells me that the Chinese freight tanker docked recently with loads of these as well as garden furniture on board.

They may be over priced in the first place but the prices are rock bottom at the mo.

50333716-PbKO3.jpgFor info ... You can stack BLC's at Lakeland. So, if you're particularly lucky like me and have access to 3 people with BLC's, that's an extra £30.00 off. (edited)

    Excellent - heat from me...

I'm a bit of a recent convert to air fryers after dipping my toe in the water and getting the Aldi dual-basket AF about a month ago. My wife and I have been saying that it's so useful that we'd like to buy another one and then keep the Aldi one for taking on self-catering holidays as the small kitchens don't usually have an oven.

I saw the original post re the AF300 and found that the AF400 was back in stock - only got the immediate 10% off but well pleased for less than £180.

Wats the dif between this and the smaller model apart from size
    bellboys's avatar

Not much, its got a rotary dial instead of a touch button and the power rating is almost identical. Like you alluded to its the size that is the main difference.

Ps the handles on this are tethered in 2 places whereas it's only one place on the AF300. Suggests to me they may have had returns due to handles becoming loose but our AF300 will be 2 years old this month and the handles show no signs of becoming loose? (edited)

PTFE nonstick coating combined with high cooking temperatures. If you value your health, stay away from these. Convenience usually has a catch.

Well I signed up for a mylakeland card a few weeks ago and waited and waited for the welcome pack to arrive.

Finally arrived and it only has 10% off over the phone or instore or £5 off £25 spend online.

Welcome10 does not work for me either.

Don't suppose anyone has a 20% off code going spare ?

Or a BLC code ? (edited)
