    Big Elgato fan here.

Just get a used MK1 Streamdeck instead. Loads more buttons (15 vs 6), and the MK1s are cheap now that the MK2's are out.

    Same software, same features.

A bit basic but could I use this to refresh my browser?

Yes but I don't see how that's easier than F5 or Ctrl R (edited)

I use an old 7 inch tablet and use the stream deck app, seems to work pretty well and has more "buttons"

Can you add a stream marker with that?

Not to poo poo this deal, but thought i'd have a look on AliExpress to see if it could be had for cheaper... Waay more expensive! Like the idea but still a tad expensive for what I want it for - basically just shortcut buttons to launch favorite apps, shut down pc, set sleep timer etc.

I know, looking to spend cash on an unnecessary gadget because 1: it's a new toy and 2: to save my other arm moving and clicking a mouse button or two - yes, that's how lazy I am lol (edited)

You will quickly use up the buttons on this for shortcuts. In reality, it's only 5 buttons because you will need one to send you to another page of shortcuts, which will inevitably happen. Pressing more than once really then fails to be a useful shortcut.

This brings elegance to rage quitting reducing keyboard abuse globally. Win win.

So this is just a box to launch short cuts ?

No, launching shortcuts is one of things it can do.

Why would not just use autohotkeys? I don't get the need for this :/

Can you do in-stream things with that like adding stream markers?

This looks like an interesting alternative for those thinking PC shortcuts, rather than streaming.

    Anyone tried it or similar?

Would like this for work but no chance they will allow the software to be installed. Won’t find the use for it on personal computer
