Got this rev 2.0/V2 version off of Scan for £270 a few months ago when it was newly up for pre-order, If anyone has any questions let me know, btw this version has an RGB subpixel layout, so doesn't have the text clarity issues of the rev 1.0/V1

Using the USB c port, can you charge and use the monitor connected to a laptop?

Is this monitor worth the extra 100 odd over this the Dell S2722DGM?

It would be for me because I prefer IPS to VA. Depends how much your eyes/brain see the black smearing of VA.

This is a good monitor for gaming, but text looks blurry because of the BGR subpixel layout when other monitors use RGB. It may not bother you, but once you notice it once you'll never unsee it.

That review is for the v1. The v2 apparently has an RGB subpixel layout

I owned the v1 of this and enjoyed it for the 2 yrs I had while it worked. The KVM switch came in handy when I had to use it for work so I wasn't disconnecting the keyboard and mouse all the time. As a gaming monitor it was pretty good. I ended up returning mine though after 2 years because it developed something like screen tearing, couldn't figure out what was causing it.
    toge's avatar
Did you change GPUs? Screen tearing can be easily fixed if you don't care about input lag - gsync or free sync should have fixed it

I swear the M28U was £400 in November? It's been £550 ever since and never goes on offer

Been using this for a year. Any questions just ask. Best monitor i have owned to date. It charges macbook pro slowly, HP laptop slowly, phone slowly, it doesnt charge a dell laptop i have at all (windows reports an error with charging).

I primarily bought it for gaming, but it's kvm switch is awesome for work. I had to buy a decent bandwidth thunderbolt cable, but now anything i plug into it (even my phone) can be switched to and inherit your keyboard and mouse if you run them via the monitor.

Lesser known feature, if you play FPS games, you can make your own crosshair and upload it, which is really nice for some games that remove the crosshair at points (no scope with the awp in CS) etc.
    liltman's avatar
I have a a logitech keyboard and mouse. Wireless. If I plug the wireless usb's into this kvm monitor will it work fine? Or does it need to be a wired keyboard lol?

Sounds daft, but never used a KVM but very interested in these especially built into a monitor!

Any suggestions for usb-c cable to connect work laptop to this with? Doesn't appear to come with one in the box annoyingly?
    GamGamGam888's avatar
Any USB-C to USB-C will work, depends on the distance how far your laptop is from your screen. They are all the same
  17. Cameron92's avatar
Mine arrived today and all looks and working great. Have no idea of best settings etc but out the box very bright and colourful and super smooth
    deleted1926918's avatar
