Got these on my car. They don’t give me any confidence driving in the wet, would avoid.

Yes, they're terrible, as all Bridgestones are. I got a new S3 recently and it came on Bridgestone Potenzas on. I will be binning those in October for something that inspires more confidence in use.

Avoid Costco tyres, I bought these less than a week ago all 4 were changed, one was playing up and going completely flat within few days and air. Wasn’t holding. I went back and they refused to change it. It had no puncture or anything. Was leaking and burnt in inner side well with a fault which they seen. Told us to contact HR and Bridgestone. They advertise warranty and every tyre place kwik fit National tyres replaces a faulty tyre with a manufacturer fault. They even admitted to it being a faulty tyre and said we can’t do nothing. Honestly I have never ever had this issue with any reputable tyre place and thought Costco was no different. Avoid these tyres just like others have said they don’t give any confidence, I wish I went to Kwik fit or national tyres, as whatever I saved I’m going to have to pay for a new tyre anyway if they refuse to take liability. May be I was the unlucky one but never again. Waiting for there response but not confident at all.

You’re definitely entitled to a replacement.
you bought the tyres from Costco not from Bridgestone.
I wouldn’t take no for an answer.
keep insisting, call their customer service, email until it’s fixed. (edited)

I don't know who they buy their test results from, but Bridgestones are just awful - noisy, rock hard, very poor traction (lots of axle tramping on FWD cars). Go Michelin or Goodyear instead (also available in Costco, and periodically on offer for buying 2 or 4).

Yes Bridgestone at normal price (£100+) are overpriced and not as good as Michelin/Continental/Goodyear

but at £80 they’re a good buy ,makes them competing with mid range brands which is where they really belong too imo.

that’s IF you have Costco membership which IS NOT available to everyone.

These have really good reviews. It’s a shame they are not my size as I need 2 new front tyres shortly

Is it recommended for the torque to be checked after say 30 miles? Is it a normal procedure for this retailer or any other?

Never heard of torque checking. What do they do? Do you need to take it to fitter for this
