You could fit new brakes and it would still fail with an offer like that.
Don't fall for it, they are not going to do this and take a hit without screwing you over.

What does the size of the engine have to do with the cost of an MOT?

Would rather pay £50 and take it to a garage I can trust not to find unnecessary work that needs doing, and offers honest advice.

True, I always pay the full hit to an independent.
They know I do my own work on cars, so no need to find phantom problems.
However they do point out problems I may need to look at if they spot them, so get the best of both worlds

Sort it out @sajidtg a Groupon deal with a vendor who can't be trusted? Please don't post deals just to get your stats up

Don't get your car mot'd at the same garage you use for repairs, that's my advice anyway.

I only used dedicated MOT places that don't offer repairs, they don't want to have to do a free retest after you had it fixed so it will only fail if it needs to. £40 well spent imo.

Not a bad deal at all, Unless you want to go via the haste of getting the voucher and then needing to call the branch to book it in
