    I normally buy all my subs using reward points, however it appears this might be a more efficient way (I could get a few more controllers or headsets using my reward points).

    So 3 months for £6.99
    1 month free with recurring billing
    That gives you 4 months for £6.99 x 3 = 12 months for £20.97
    That's 3 years for £62.91 + £10.99 Ultimate to convert for £73.90 (the Ultimate I guess can be had cheaper too)

    Just to be clear, you could buy 9 of these at the same time, apply them together then afterwards apply a game pass ultimate code to convert them? It's the applying them all at the same time really that I want to confirm.

    I used to just buy ultimate a month at a time on eBay, but it's over doubled in price in the last 2 months. Could easily get them for £2.50 in April now they're at least £5.50, I wonder why the increase

    I've read so many methods of doing this, ones with turn on and off recurring billing and its much cheaper? Anyone know how to definitively do it through recurring billing?

    When you put in a code in there's a box to tick to turn on recurring billing for a free month, I expect you need a credit/debit card registered to your account. Before you enter your next code go to your account settings & turn off recurring billing & then repeat the process, you'll get 4 months for 3 month & you can get up to 3 years. You then buy one month of gamepass & you'll get the option to upgrade all your xbox live gold to ultimate. (edited)

    Erm, not really a thing as the games available rotate (i.e. you get 2/3 per month like PS+) and you have to claim them each month as an active member.

    Nice, just signed up to xbox live gold as the ultimate codes on ebay are pretty expensive now so I was able to cancel and get a refund of my £6.99 per month and buy 3 months for the same price.

    I'm currently torn on the idea of buying yet another 3 years as it won't give me access to games I have bought on other accounts. I really can't wait for MS to grant the UK access to family account sharing (So annoying as Ireland has access to it and I'm in Northern Ireland - they always confuse those 2 except on this point!)
    I don't really want to buy digital game duplicates...

    This morning i used up my microsoft rewards points to buy 12 x 3 months gold, then 1 month ultimate. Didnt cost me a penny but the reward points had a value of about £164. I think cd keys would have cost £91 for the same. If this offer was live at the time i am not sure which one i would have went with

    I also redeemed all codes on xbox but never got the option for turning on recurring billing, for the extra free month. Should i have redeemed via pc instead. Think i have already done this in the past, is it a one time promo per account? (edited)

    It's better to buy gold cards and convert, and keep the points to turn into vouchers to buy things from Amazon etc or for best conversion into Microsoft gift cards

    My gpu expires in 4 days so couldn't have been timed better. I tried to buy 9 buy looks like there is a 2 card limit.

    BE WARNED!!!...They only gave one me '3 month'codes X 4 when I bought' 6 month codes X 4 a few weeks ago .then they stop replying to emails .. Had to speak to PayPal to get the refunds.. Ended up paying just £12.79 for 18 months but that was after all the faffing around and stress of being duped by them in the first place 😬..

    I doubt I'll be using CDkeys in the near future ...

    No, I do not have an Xbox, but I use this for game pass ultimate which includes PC games.
    It works a fair bit cheaper for me. Initially did the 3-year stack + £1 upgrade, and now can use these cheap codes to add 50+ days to the end.

    Not that great? Them stopping the £1 gamepass thing has made it so much more expensive and they have done it in a smart way and got the prices up

    You wouldn’t even get a year of Game Pass for that paying normal prices…

    Could someone help with this please I’ve bought the code. Redeemed it so got the 3 months plus 1 month free but then when I go to convert it the cost is 10.99 a month not £1 a month 🤷🏼‍♂️

    The £1 ultimate deal has long since gone, you'll need to find a 1 month Gamepass Ultimate code either on ebay or on cd keys, buy and apply that and it will upgrade your gold to ultimate on a 1 to 1 basis, you'll get 4 months of ultimate after that.
