    Certainly a steel one I had that’s what I was told.

    For sure. Both carbon steel and cast iron should really be seasoned

    Think this is a good price. As above it defo needs seasoning. Maybe that why people are getting burnt on residue. I use a cast iron one and works great but fancy one of these as a lot lighter.

    It's non stick. You really shouldn't try to season this, you'd probably burn off the non stick coating if you tried to get it hot enough to season

    Bought one of these from TKMaxx for about £13 a few months ago, used x2 and the base is covered in burnt on residue. Maybe my fault but be aware …

    Can't be too much worse than my current scoville pans! The scoville wok base is burnt like you say. I've switched over to stainless, non-coated pans and I don't get this issue. Yet to find out with this wok however.
