The total cost for the phone works out to be £41.99 x 24 + £9 = £1016. 76. With £50 c/back £966.76 and lower still if you sell the tab.
Considering that the phone is priced £1049rrp it seems that this could be a good deal for early adopters who don't want to stump up 1k upfront. Or also if you're in the market for a new deal altogether.
If you have a mobile plan then carry on using it. You're not really paying for the plan that comes with it. But make sure you make a call once every 6mths.
I appreciate the fact that they will claw some back from April with CPI + 3.9% increase. But all other plans will go up equally.
Compare this deal with one being offered by three £891 for the phone over 3yr contract plus a separate plan on top over 3yr. Their cheapest plan is £13 pm so 36 x £13 = £468. Total £891 + £468 = £1359.
On Mobiles.co.uk the 25gb idmobile plan comes in at total £1119 or on voda £1091
