I have one of these and also had the previous version and can highly recommend it - great combo with Sennheiser HD600s and HD800Ss.

It's more mobile than portable in the sense you can rig it up with your phone and use a single cable etc but it's all a little unwieldy. It's easy to carry and place somewhere though. I usually just use a couple of Cable Matters Micro USB to USBC cables directly to my computer. iPhone needs the iPhone camera adapter out.

Still has those ugly Micro USB ports

They have added a USB C port as well so you only need the Micro port for charging

I have the original Mojo and love it. Great sound and this should be better. The new one also has better power management if you're using it as a DAC in a hifi - as the Mojo 2 smart charges when plugged into power.

Great sounding but not for on the go usage. Its a little chunky.

Just purchased the ifi Go Bar and it's fantastic for sound and form factor

I have the iFi Micro iDSD, which I like, curious how Chord sounds

Why do Chord make their products look so wacky? It always puts me off.

What Hi-Fi? Product of the Year 2022 (Mojo 2) along with Poly makes for the most advanced portable music streamer in the world. The best price it has ever been, too. I would snap it up while stocks last.

If you are thinking about using it mobile, keep in mind that they are power hungry and runs very hot.

The Mojo 2 so I have heard runs a lot cooler.

Would it be easier to get the Donner Mini portable amp? It's two channel and does kick out nice tone.

Try a hiby w5, can do dac/amp via USB c and also Bluetooth input with aptx hd/ ldac codecs. Fantastic bit of kit for the money and tiny.

My be off topic but I’m looking for something that I would term a pre-amp equaliser. To take a source, adjust the levels and then pass it to an amplifier.

Does something like that exist? Could this act in this way?

Says 2yr warranty directly under the price...do I need to do anything special to get the 5 yrs?

If you just add the Mojo2 to your cart it automatically adds a 1yr, 2yr and 5yr warranty.
