I suspect it's all fixed. The counterweight isn't adjustable either. It's all fixed to work with the AT3600 cart and no others...

think a lot of people will tell you to avoid automatic turntables ...if the mechanism goes wrong they're very hard/costly to sort out and not worth fixing
....still remember the old 'stacker' one we had as kids that you load up with singles and it drops them down one at a time !

personally i'd up your budget and go for something in the £250- 300 range..one of the other deals that peter tyson have on ..the pro-ject's for example

still probably better than those awful cheapies that they have in hmv etc which are definitely best to avoid (edited)

The whole turntable costs 105 quid here, you could just buy another one and still save money.

I researched this table before Xmas for my girlfriend and it's basically the same as the Sony lx310 without the Bluetooth.

It's an absolutely fine turntable for the money, the sound holds up with more expensive ones and despite the claims of self proclaimed "audiophiles" it won't destroy your vinyl.

Have no problem recommending it as a starter turntable with someone wanting to get into vinyl (edited)

No adjustability and automatic was why I bought it for my girlfriend, basically plug in and play. It's a decent entry level turntable, with a decent minimalist design. Absolutely no complaints.

I concur… entry level and sounds decent. Phono preamp if you want to use powered speakers.

I don’t get the hate… it’s pitched entry level and it fulfils. I guess the haters haven’t even bothered to listen to it, caught up in their £6000 counterweight turntable stands and snake oil high purity oxygen free phono cables…. (edited)

Doesn't look a bad deal. Fully auto for £100 doesn't have a lot of competition....
