It's VA so it's trash for gaming. Anyone who still doesn't understand why no gamer should ever use VA should perhaps take 30 mins to google and youtube the simple tech facts.

VA is a MOVIE/TV tech, good for deep blacks and 24/30Hz refresh. TV panels are literally the cheapest to manufacture, hence the con of VA sold as very profitable 'gaming' panels.

When VA quotes refresh speeds above 30Hz, it is referring to the driving transistors and NOT the speed at which the LCD cell changes state. VA cells are the slowest of all LCD tech.

I mean modern VA can be perfectly fine for gaming, if you are able to find a better ips alternative at the same price then please do share.

It could be possible to understand that many people would be perfectly happy with a VA panel.

But at the end of the day you are the man who moans that a publicly listed company is being greedy instead of doing what's in the best interest of its shareholders.

You are a meme of this site and no one takes anything you say seriously because of it. (edited)

Has VA smearing for those wondering, but if you can tolerate it, good for the money

This any good for general productivity/ programming. They all seem to be directed at gaming :/

If it's good enough for gaming, then it's good enough for productivity, but perhaps not graphics design. (edited)

Any thoughts on this vs the LG 34WR50QC-B for £200?
    Th30r1g1nal's avatar

Had a quick look at reviews and apparently the speakers are rubbish and build quality isn’t great but good value otherwise

I mean, who cares about the speakers?
