Nice find OP, would have ordered but wanted a stand mixer for pizza dough that could handle 1kg worth of flour in one hit and found the below from the manual on the product page…

    “Use the dough hook attachment.
Maximum weight of ingredients is 1kg, it's advised to not exceed 600g of flour to avoid overspill”

That's what I want it for too.

At 6 litres the bowl on this is almost the largest capacity I could find without going up to commercial sized (and priced) mixers and the 1600w motor should have enough grunt to work the dough.

I'm hoping they're just being over cautious in the advice in the manual.  I'll start slowly and not use higher speeds until everything is incorporated.  Hopefully it'll be ok otherwise I could be scaping it off the walls

What do you guys think, would this be able to handle dough for wholemeal bread. It is quite thick and I'm concerned

I went for MUMS2EW00 Kitchen machine | Bosch GB (bosch-home.co.uk)

I tried it with 1.8kg Pizza Dough and a little bit of flour came out so next time I will put 3/4 flour in and all the water and then the last 1/4 of flour to combine. But the motor was strong enough to carve through it and made excellent pizza dough. As well as picked up everything from the bowl. This was with '00' dough and I plan to make some Sourdough and I would go for the Bosch (1.7 kg of yeast dough) compared to this (1.2kg capacity). It is smaller to store.

You can buy lots of attachments. The Bosch Serie 5 Stand Mixer has the same connectors but a bigger motor (1000W vs 700W) for 2.7kg capacity but the bowl is only 3.9l which is on the small side.

Had this mixer for a few years now, it’s good but the only thing I hate it the attachments don’t quite go to the bottom of the bowl. So if your only say mixing a few egg whites it doesn’t quite reach them.

Thanks for the comment. Did you ever use it for any heavy dough kneading. I plan to buy it for wholemeal bread.

Bought this for making pizza dough. Really good for the price. Very heavy. This is a steal.

Have you done a batch with a 1kg bag of flour in one hit? (edited)
