Wish they were the wood ones at this price! I've been eyeing them up for a while to beef up my tv sound as my old (no laughing) Logitech set up died recently. Just need that extra thump, but not party in the room loud

Have a set of these running off a Chromecast Audio (rip) in the spare room - sound is plenty good! (edited)

I have these for my PC (in wood) and they are great. The dual imports is great too as I have an extra cable to plug into my phone (or any other device). If you don't use them for a PC you could always plug in some sort of Bluetooth receiver to make them wireless. I can't say that the remote is that great as it only does volume but there are knobs for Treble and Bass. When you pump it up they can be quite booming, which is not bad for bookshelf speakers!

    I’m looking for some
speakers to add to my tv setup. I have a Samsung soundbar, if I get some kind of Bluetooth receiver will the sound sync ok? I have plug sockets in thr media wall but can trail wires.

Edifier make really nice stuff, got my son a DB pair for his Sony Bluetooth turntable, very versatile as you can either hard wire or use as a Bluetooth speaker, the sound is incredible! (edited)

    (very) Technical review*...

    Conclusions
I went into the listening tests prebiased with good looks and poor measurements of the speaker. What I found was that with a bit of EQ, this becomes a very nice speaker to enjoy on the desktop. It leaves far behind any plastic toy computer speaker. It certainly did justice to any track I threw at it, leaving me wanting to sit there and keep listening to it!

I don't often make dispensation for price but here, it is remarkable how good of a sound one can get from well packages speaker and with some correction per above. Even without EQ, if one turns down the treble control it will likely be quite listenable.

Dammit - white would look a lot better on my desk than the black ones I have! Although I've got the 1280dbs too and really happy with them (edited)

Is this a worthwhile upgrade over the Logitech Z333?
