I have Echo Show 8 and can't believe there is no possibility to use a screen keyboard to search for songs on Spotify, or Netflix or YouTube. There is so much more potential in it and I'm not sure why they're not doing it in new Echo Shows. Also the first manufacturer implementing Chat GPT or Bard (either controlled by voice or by keyboard) wins it all. Just a personal opinion (edited)

In case it’s of use (and I haven’t misunderstood you): On my Echo show 8 I use voice and keyboard all the time to search YouTube.
‘Alexa open YouTube’ leads to the Silk browser being launched. It takes you to the you’ve website.
If you sign in, the browser will log you in on future visits.
From here ‘Alexa find me videos about…’ actually kicks off a YouTube search. I discovered this by accident. It feels like some special functionality built in by Amazon.
Alternatively, pressing the ‘magnifying glass’ search button on the YouTube website will result in a full screen keyboard appearing with which you can type search strings, but that also has a microphone icon in its centre. Press this and you can just dictate what you want to search for.
    Hope this helps!

Such a shame this can’t be used for Home Assistant as if it could it would be ideal for a wall mounted touchscreen albeit far cheaper

My 10inch FireHD10 (9th Gen) with a 3D printer wall mount works out at £100 all in
