Not really a deal if they switched to cheaper QLC from TLC

    They haven't...

    From that thread -
The author claims that there is even a QLC version in the 2TB and 4TB capacities.

He can 'claim' what he likes, the fact is no one has seen QLC MX500's over here.
Strangely enough, the only people that claim they've had QLC MX500's had bought them from AliExpress...
    What does that tell you?

This discussion gets brought up on every MX500 deal, it needs to finally be put to bed. (edited)

Thanks, this would be a good price usually, but the 4TB Samsung Evo for around £125 after cashback kills this.

While I'm a big fan of the MX500's, this is a cold deal when you can still get the 4TB 870 EVO for £144 after cashback (or less if the price drops again).
