Looks like you missed the £114 Samsung 870 EVO 4TB deal a month or so back though (discounted price + Samsung cashback).
£140 4TB is a more realistic expectation until 8TB drives become the people's new flagship (yes, they exist, and no, they're not widely used/available). We're reaching screen size to content file size limit anyway so I don't see this happening any time soon. (edited)

I don't know the ins and outs of these NVR systems though so wouldn't want to say for sure.
majority of the speed of an SSD comes from the initial seek speed anyway, unless you are constantly reading and writing massive amounts of data
Worth keeping an eye on as it may drop to €171.50 again shortly.
