Do not buy this for the call blocking facility as BT are changing the landline phones to work via your modem and this functionality will not work when you switch to internet. A good price for a 4 phone system but that is all these phones will be. NB answerphone will not work either. (edited)
My Auntie has BT phones with the call blocker on and she connects it to VOIP using a Sip to ATA adapter and the BT call blocker functions work exactly how they always have.

I have these and they are brilliant. Stop approximately 40-50 spam calls per day!
Can different BT call nuisance block handsets be mixed and matched? I.e. I have the higher spec one (8500?), but an extra handset is about £30 alone.
What is the roaming on these? Can I take them on holiday? 200 hrs standby....kick butt out of the iPhones.
Surely these are going to stop working as everything will need to be DECT very soon?
