Bet we see another one before the end of the month unfortunately

Not that fans are all that helpful in extreme heat as they don't actually cool the air, only move it....

I have one, and two other family members do too, they are great, imo.

I bought this for £120 and it was well worth the money. It's been a godsend in the heat.

How are they any better than a fan the same size but half the price? This seems expensive for a fan.

I always used to say this, what can a Meaco do that a £20 fan cannot do.

Then I purchased a Meaco, it is definetely in a different league, cannot explain it, but it is much better than a £20 fan.

This plastic fan deal is literally posted at this price every month.

Surely if its this price every month, this shouldn't be a deal?

Its like the SanDisk cards, ultra overpriced all the time and then every month they out 1 card at "half price" (basically at "normal price") and people go nuts (edited)

I recently bought one of these for the heatwave, and it did nothing at all. The moment the fan turned away from me I was boiling again.

Tried eco mode, and it always seemed caught between 2 temperatures, so kept changing speeds every few seconds. Very distracting.

In the end, I had it just gave me directly without oscillateing, and while that worked, it just gave me a bad neck.

A £20 fan could have done that.

However, now that the heat wave is gone, it's been rather pleasant. Very quiet and generates a pleasant breeze. Not as powerful as reviews made out, however.

Why did it give you a bad neck?

Damn good bit of kit. Yes it is a fan but it is listed as an air circulator, helps bring the ambient temperature down. So blast it at your face or gently cool the room. Beats the noisy expensive Dyson stuff.

Purchased one last week, I was initially pleased with how it performed, it moved the air around well and was very quiet especially at the lower settings,
I have however found that after a few hours of use its noise levels increase quite a lot, even at the lower speed settings, I'm not sure if this is normal with this machine or whether its faulty or not?

Just picked one up from the Thurrock branch earlier today. Very powerful. Impressed so far (Hubby not so much. He almost had a heart attack when he saw the price).
