I imagine these lubes are usable on motorbike chains too.

Nope. You should only ever use motorbike lube on motorbike chains. Two reasons. Stresses and forces are far higher on motorbike chains, and also, most decent motorbike chains have O rings in them. You need to be certain a lubricant won't adversely affect these, so just get motorbike-specific lube. (I've been riding motorbikes for over 40 years, nearly as long as I've been riding bicycles).

    Biodegradable?

Exactly what you need from a chain lube......NOT.

Blimey, it's just one gormless cycling hot take after another with you!

Why on earth wouldn't you want oil washed off your chain to biodegrade?

Are you assuming that it's so biodegradable it'll have dissolved into it's constituent parts before you get home after an evening loop? (edited)

This is a YouTube video with a bike mechanics ten most loved products or whatever and this is first on the list. I'm a commuter who can't be bothered to wash and re-lube my drivetrain everytime the weather changes so I've ordered some of this to try.

It seems to be well reviewed from the (not very extensive) Google searches I've done.

This guy (in a different video, below) is why I've switched from Muc-Off to Fenwick's. I couldn't work out why my drivechain was always so gummed up. Apparently it's the Muc-Off oil.

Personally I just get a litre of gearbox oil, find it lasts much longer, and is cheaper and doesn't pick up so much grit from the roads in winter.
