If you're in the market for a seriously good (but seriously expensive) 5G router, the Netgear Nighthawk MR5200 is £601 with 30% off so £420-ish for "Like New" - you cannot pick this device up for less than £700 normally and most places are selling it for closer to £800. Granted you'd be mad to buy it at full price but at almost half price compared to the average retail price it's a bargain if it's something you want/need.

I've been looking for a decent, unlocked 5G router for home backup/travel and really fancied this but the price (even for a business purchase) was too high, at this price though, I'm hovering over the buy button.

Basically we get it an hour later than Europe but it's the same pool of products, so everything is gone.

Managed to get an as new Marantz PM6007 amplifier for £233, never seen it under £300 before, so there are some bargains to be had.

The washer dryer. My sister got that. Went faulty in just over 2 years. My old Hotpoint 12+ years is still running fine

Don't know why this gets so hot, it's literally the bin of Amazon. Not what it used to be

If you're after some replacement Phillips OneBlade blades, this deal is decent. 2 blades for £18.80, with an extra 30% off at checkout makes it £6.58/blade compared with £7.90 from a regular 3 pack on Amazon.

I had an item in the basket, and it's lost the "30% off at checkout" tag!
    Diogenes007's avatar
Too late for this time, but if you're not sure about whether you want to purchase an item or not buy it anyway but specify delivery with an Amazon delivery date for about 5 or 6 days time. That way you can have a think about it and if you change your mind - just cancel the order. (edited)

    Some decent Panasonic microwaves available
    nosherfj's avatar
Cheers I got a Panasonic NN-ST48KSBPQ are £199 new or from amazon warehouse £185 but with 30% off got last one for £129.99. Scrub that I refunded it as they had one going for £110 with cracks holes or dents. Dents I can live with.

    amazon.co.uk/gp/…RKQ

Already own a Panasonic NN-SD271S (NN-SD27HSBPQ) which is working fine but as with all microwaves if you don't mop up the water that collects under tge glass plate entually the enamal paint perishes leaving a rusty ring.
So as this new microwave has a a steam sensor has a few extra features over my old one and I can give my old micro to my sister. Wish they wouls make microwaves with stainless steel interiors which I think you can buy with the combi ones only which I don't want. Note to self clean out under plate every once in a while.

Anyone else buying a microwave don't bother unless they have inverter technology as this means you can set them to 100watts when defrosting.

Does anyone know if Amazon used stuff have warranty? After a wet dry hoover and seen one decent priced, but not quite sure if I trust it to function properly after a couple of months!
    cheaperbythe12's avatar
1 year. Recently returned a sony speaker which stopped working and amazon had no issue me returning for refund 11 months after purchase.
  15. nosherfj's avatar
Cheers bought this for £129.99 reduced from £185 and new cost £199. Scrub that refunded it as there was an even cheaper one with cracks, holes or dents for (£110) which I went for instead. A dent I can live with. So nearly half price retail.

50558214-eVzmX.jpgAll the stuff I bought last year was proper broken, I can only assume old Jeff checks everthing himself on his Yacht by waving his left hand when it arrives on a rowing boat and sending it all back to the warehouse.

Had a turtlebeach headset where the mic didn't work, lights that didn't light up, worse one ever though was a camping bed that someone had obviously sat on and snapped the aluminum frame, and repaired it by stuffing a tree branch down the frame to make it look like it could support weight. Amazons description is "Good", It;s got a snapped frame and half a tree stuffed down it Jeff.... (edited)

They have stripped away a lot of the high-value items!

I did a lot of my purchases in the 20% off the other day but now the same search returns almost nothing… no way have they all been sold.

Annoying as I got a Razer Blade 14 for £830 from there which is faulty and can’t be replaced… (edited)
    JDUK2020's avatar
I thought I was taking a chance with with a TV bracket described as acceptable (a condition I never usually buy) but only £77 if its rubbish. £830 would have me needing sedatives.

Was looking at a Ryzen 7 3800X priced at 152 before discount. I looked at something else then went back to it and the price had gone up to £177 before the 30% discount.
    FantasticFox's avatar
For that price you could get a 5700x
  26. yoyoken's avatar
Seriously it s just a waste of time. Lessons learnt from last year. Stuffs that dont work properly, minor fault...ended up returning all
    RogPJ's avatar
Last time I ended up returning most of what I bought as well, including a cordless hedge trimmer where the battery had been swapped for an old bashed up one and a printer which needed new print heads!
  27. gordo1964's avatar
Sure I spotted some used tems that are more expensive than the new version

They, as always with prime day, removed the decent stuff. It’s always the run up period that ends up being better. Lots of Razer laptops were included and now nothing bruh.
    cheaperbythe12's avatar
Yeah, there was some decent enough stuff in the recent 20% but nothing like how it used to be. Still, managed to get a laptop and a lens and some other bits at the 20% discount turn up basically new, some of which aren't often discounted much from their RRP and also a lot less than used prices on eBay so I'm pleased with my haul the past week lol
  32. mocmocamoc's avatar
Last thing I got was a hedge trimmer with battery and charger, battery and charger missing. They gave me 40 quid to buy one, so I did ok but someone basically bought one and stole the bits from it. Puts me off

Got two smashed up coffee machines last time I tried my luck. Given up with warehouse stuff. The amount of time wasted returning stuff isn't worth the pain.

Bought a Rowenta 16 Inch Oscillating Stand Fan with Tiltable Head, Powerful Airflow, Adjustable Height, Home and Office, Silent Setting, 4 Speed Settings, 38dBA, White, VU5840
For £44.19 from amazon warehouse late last year. First one arrived damaged so returned it but the 2nd was like new. Bargain.I'd but another if they ever go down to that price again but can't see that happening.

In the previous 30% sale I bought a Renpho digital scales for £7, another bargain.

Finaly I bought a Tala Traditional Ceramic Stoneware Mixing Bowl in Blue and Cream Colour, Blue/Cream, 5000ml and was new in box.

    Just some ideas for peeps.
