Brilliant mouse. Micro USB still so a little inconvenient to charge, but the battery lasts a pretty long time. Can save three separate Bluetooth devices and switch between with the click of a button.
This is the 3rd time I've seen it come down to this price, i don't think you'll ever see it any lower.

anyone using this on a macbook m1. have heard there were some lag issues, wondering if now resolved, quick google didn't give me much confidence

I user on MAC M1, two Lenovo laptops. Works really well.

I think I had one time where the mouse was stuck, I just flipped the mouse changed the profile (press 1, 2 and 3) and started working again. Never had any memorable issues with it.

Is the button to change PC's underneath does anyone know?
    Mikstamike's avatar
There is a button with 1-2-3 on the underside. I’d assume that this is per Bluetooth pairing.

It’s called the easy share button….

I bought it on prime day. I did try to register using serial number but it didn't find anything though putting serial number manually in the section below it allowed to register. I guess their database might not be pulling serial numbers.

ngl didn't register mine. I have been using it since last year, no issues. I even bought mx anyway 2s on Wednesday.

I got this, the side roll to controll the volumen on the pc is another whole world experience 👌👌

Seems to have been this price occasionally before, otherwise hovering just below £70 (and not £99.99).

So still an excellent current price, so thanks to the comments on here I've gone for this to ease my niggling RSI.

Recommended this to my friend who has the same condition and she said it was much better than the generic mouse (edited)

Won't work if plugged in with USB cable if it's like the MX Anywhere 2. Which is annoying as it lags when a few meters from the TV so a USB extension cable is no use.
    raistlin82's avatar
Using one plugged in with usb cable at the moment as battery had got low, no problems at all

Will this work with a dongle or can it work directly connected via Bluetooth?
    JZY's avatar

Both, i have it connected to my macbook via bluetooth and dongle for my windows work laptop

ive had the issue where the buttons stop working (but scroll wheel still worked). I googled it and the issue is with the thumb button getting stuck and it had to be loosened (theres a few vids on youtube on this). It's back to normal again now

any good as a gaming mouse?
    plewis00's avatar
I use one for gaming since my Corsair M65s all went the same way (had 4 all fail on left-click) and can't report any issues, probably the best wireless mouse I've had. I don't like the control software (there is no quick DPI setting) but it's still less cluttered than Corsair iCUE. Can't fault the mouse. Someone may tell you it's no good for gaming and there obviously are better ones, if you are sensitive to latency, get wired.
  12. plewis00's avatar
Great mouse, forgot I bought one before and left it in the drawer til my other Corsair broke. Was meant to be temporary but so good I have not bothered looking again. Very comfortable and well-built, good materials, battery lasts ages, smooth tracking.

I guess if there are any complaints, it's that the software supplied is a little bloated (nothing on Corsair though), no DPI setting and the charger is micro USB not USB C.

I have this for about 3-4 years.
Really good mouse, but couple of gripes; the rubber used on the palm/thumb started breaking away, I had to disable the thumb button (not that i use it often anyway).
The scroll wheel is disintegrating because it looks like it used the same gummy plastic.

Sadly no replacement parts available from what I found, i think the V3? done away with this type of material on both spots. I would suggest to look for an V3 instead.

PS Big fan of logitech, bought loads from them (mx518, G603, 403, 2S, nano, multiple other travel sized ones), keyboards, etc... (edited)
    driver8's avatar
Oof... Thanks for sharing. Looks like the v3 is double this price?
In various products over the years, I really hate these kinds of plastic that degrade... Some go sticky, others just crumble.
Manufacturers should know by now... It's not as if all types of plastics do this.

❓ So for the people who have returned a suspected Logitech-refurb (mis-matched serial, unable to be registered online) - how do you then get a replacement at the same Prime price?

❓ When you start the Amazon return process, does it give the option for a replacement? Or do we need to use live chat?
    JZY's avatar
    Author
Use live chat first, Amazon seem reluctant to give replacement nowadays (not sure why), you won't be able to reorder it at the same price unless you can get them to give you a gift voucher for the difference maybe

A genuinely good prime deal on something I've wanted for a while... :/

Fabulous mouse. I did have to get one replaced though due to a fault with the wheel. Fantastic to use though

I also fault the damn micro usb port. I've almost phased out the port. Why must it haunt me

It's a good mouse at this price. Suitable for large hands as it's quite bulky and heavy.

  21. GordonShumwayX's avatar
I use this on my Mac Mini and it is a solid, if a little heavy ratter.
  22. Blakejw's avatar
Does this have quiet click keys? If not then that is different to the 3s
    Sinan_Goekceoglu's avatar
    No.

This one has micro usb port instead of type c and design is different.

Amazing, nearly bought one from CEX as the RRP of £70 seemed a little high, perfect.

Isn’t Mx anywhere easier to hold?
    jujuzeez's avatar
    different strokes for different folks.

For what it's worth, I have two of the older versions of the portable mini, which don't accept USB C. I cannot fault them. I tried the 2S and found it lighter and less usable (the mini portable version) So despite the USB C charging, I sent it back and stuck with my older MX portable masters. The battery life is three to six months, so charging isn't an issue. For my desktop I have the MX master 3, which needs charging every year. I love it. While this is a good deal for those without, it's definitely not worth upgrading. (edited)

I'm using the original MX1, best mouse I've ever used. The weighted infinite scroll wheel (in hybrid mode) is a Godsend, shape is super comfy, battery is excellent. Don't let the trim colour put you off - looks professional in reality. Price great - my MX1 was £35 from Amazon 18 months ago.

Has anyone compared this with a vertical mouse?
I really like my vertical mouse at the moment, but I’d love to ditch the wire. My dream would be to find a vertical mouse that can be charged with a USB cable (I can’t stand the idea of using batteries). Does anyone have any recommendations?
    rogersmore's avatar
No personal experience with this, but this is a vertical mouse made by Logitech:

Hi guys, just be aware I ordered this from Amazon, received it today. Upon opening, it looked like it had been squashed into its box. I checked the serial number on the box and the actual mouse and theyre different? Told Amazon chat but theyre not that interested, just told me to repurchase and return?
    driver8's avatar
    sheesh ... that's very poor.
But thanks for the heads-up ... mine arriving today ...
  38. driver8's avatar
Flippin' 'eck ... the saga of the second-hand mouse continues ...

My scroll wheel works perfectly in ratchet mode, but in free spin it often 'settles' after I gently let go, as if the wheel is not perfectly round, or is not weighted evenly. It's unusable in this mode - the wheel visibly continues to turn slightly, and of course continues to scroll the page.

I've just received my Arteck, which was an absolute bargain at £11, and an obvious copy of the Logi 2S (it doesn't have rubber on the scroll wheel [good], and does not have a side scroll).
