meltedExactly what I used mine for, got a few odd looks, but didn't catch it until I had to go out in an emergency without it, and had to make do with an ineffective surgical mask. (edited)
SargentsiriWe use these in the fire service, enough said- meltedThese are good masks and quite comfortable, and come in a sealed bag, so you should be able to tell if they ship you someone else's return with used filters. I much prefer it over the 3m 6200 mask.
Reusable respirators like this also tend to make a much better seal to your face than disposable FFP3 masks, and the seal on this one is particularly good, plus the press to check filters make it easy to test it.
I've often found disposable FFP3 mask have been letting in dust around the nose when using for DIY and machining wood and it almost impossible to get a good face seal on the cheaper FFP masks. (edited)
