Anyone know where one can get a nice living room computer desk at less than 100mm wide, preferably with a drawer and shelf for a tower? I swear, I've probably spent three hours of my life looking for one so far. They're all pretty wide.

There is a 100x60 on Amazon, or does it need to be less than 100?

Got the Flexispot one of same size, I'm hoping it's more sturdy for the worktop than this one. About £50 difference but I'm hoping the build quality is worth it.
Long shot but has anyone got a real comparison of the two? Is the £50 difference worth it?

I have a Flexispot EG1 (I think that’s the model number) and other than at its highest settings it’s sturdy as heck even when just plonked on carpet.

Really a non issue as even as a 6ft2in person, the height that makes it have a bit of wobble is unusably high. (edited)

Anyone can see what the width is between the legs and the width between leg and overhang?

I litteraly put one of these together today but used some kitchen counter i had spare instead of the provided top and it seems great! seems more than sturdy enough and the motor is smooth and quiet

Is it possible to leave the actual desk top detached from the frame and still have a sturdy desk? I have a room where the desk needs folding down when we have guests so I need to be able to dismantle and store it fairly easily.

Still have this in my basket with discount and looks like I can still checkout at this discounted price.

Just not sure about the split top issue.

Some people say it’s a problem

    Others say not.

Any advice from REAL LIFE experience most welcome 🙏

tbh even if you get it just to use the frame and your own top and scrap the top that comes with it, its still a great deal

    Seems like a good deal?

    Don't suppose these come in a 100cm width ?
    Coffmad1's avatar
it says it expands from 72-120cm in the title, that includes everything inbetween also

This is a great price. One thing to check as an owner of a standing desk like this. Check the max weight it can handle. If it is too heavy it will go down by itself.

It seems the top comes in 2 separate pieces. I think that would make it less rigid. Why not just one rigid piece top like most desk tops?!
Was seriously considering getting it but don't think I will anymore. Anyone have any issues with it after a while?
  13. CynicalNurse's avatar
Not buying because the desktop comes in multiple parts. Can't think of a dumber cost saving idea then to saw up the desktop.
  14. InDaHouse's avatar
Anyone else with these 'split' desktops can share some REAL LIFE experiences if there is a problem with the 'parts' of the top in comparison to one full piece?

    Thank you

I have been using this for a few months now. I don't see any issues. I have 2 monitors and 2 laptops. Operation is smooth.
