    Before use, scrub it with a pan scourer and detergent.
    Place on a low heat just enough to dry then apply veg oil with a tissue.
    Heat until smoking and oil has burned off.
    Now seasoned and ready for use.
    After use clean with hot water if necessary, place on a low heat just enough to dry then apply a very light coat veg oil with a tissue before storage.

    You dont really want to "wash" it with soap, just rinse it in water every time after you use it. you should not have food sticking to the surface Unless you don't apply generous amount of oil before you use or apply execive heat.

    Back in my country this is something that is always in a house

    Great bit of kit. Had this for a few years and it’s a nice size and thickness for the hob. Handle is wide enough you can get often gloves around it if you’re moving it while hot from a ceramic hob.
