Originally named for their 5 key attributes: automatic movement, day-date display, water resistance, recessed crown, durable case and bracelet, Seiko 5 Sports became famous for their colourful looks and steadfast reliability. The Seiko 5 Sports 2019 collection spans five different themes: Sports, Suits, Specialist, Street and Sense and the UK collection encompasses 18 models.

Nice colour. H.Samuel aren't very trustworthy though. I bought a watch from them that had no tags on it, despite claiming to be new. Naughty that.

Yeah, I've had ex display sold as new as well

Wish Seiko would go back to using the original 5 instead of the silly Superman looking S !

I prefer the superman S … always felt the old one looked a bit cheap

My tiny wrists max out at about 40mm, so while I love the style of the Seiko 5, it's just too big

It only has a 46mm lug to lug so you'd be surprised how small they wear

Nobody really will price match them unfortunately.I tried with First Class Watches-they won’t do it.
Would be nice to get this watch at this price but not from HSamuel.I won’t risk a watch lottery, heard bad stories about damaged or not new watches with no tags and scratches sold as new and delivered completely 🧈 up boxes.Hot for the price/freezing cold for the seller.

Never had an issue with watch from them. You can always return if any though…

I do like this Seiko watch range but personally prefer their 'dress kx' watches such as this:

    What a beauty

Shame there's no smaller size. 38-39mm would be perfect

Love the watch and very nice price, I just wish they would have something in a smaller form factor (around 35-38mm). The new PRX from Tissot is 35mm and it looks gorgeous. Hopefully all brands pick up on this.

    They do a 38mm Seiko 5 (edited)

Heat. I got one of these a year ago and love it. Nice for formal and more casual situations. I’ve got small wrists but it fits perfectly.

Nice but the need to update dates every month would grate me. Perpetual is the way to go. One day I will upgrade my 5

With you there on date windows, find them annoying too unless perpetual calendars 🙏🏻

I've loved the look of this since it came out but I've been spoiled by high specced chinese brands.

I'm use to getting sapphire glass, solid end links, decent bracelets / clasps and ceramic bezels for sub £200.

If i got this id atleast have to put a bracelet and sapphire on it and then find the balls to mess with a brand new watch lol
