Hello, Please can someone tell me how this compares to the DJI Mini 3 pro for £709 on Amazon, thanks

It’s a different drone. It’s larger, meaning extra rules apply. If you’re new to drones then the mini’s are better.  Simple.

Hi,I have the avata it so easy to fly but I must admit my mini 3 get used much more than this.
It depends what you're looking for ? Mini 3 /pro is only 249g so can fly pretty much anywhere where the avatar you cannot

I read that with an A2 licence as it's under 500 grams you can fly it everywhere you can a 249g.

I travelled to the top of a mountain yesterday and I wish I had a drone because the view was incredible. I couldn't get the true perspective using the phone on my camera but I'm certain a drone would have given the right perspective. Wind was mild to moderate so I think I could use a drone. Thinking of DJI Mavic Mini 3 as long as the camera is good enough. My question is because the area I was in was wild and I presume no CAA restrictions I don't need a 249g drone, so would a larger drone be better for this purpose or afford me a better experience in filming high up?

Hi,mini 3 is surprisingly good for its size and very versatile ,the pro version the one to have if you can stretch to it.
I have the mini 3 and it's done me proud good for up to 25 miles a hour winds but yes the big drone do perform better in the higher winds and have can have better camera.but the caveat of the 3 is it's such a good all-rounder compact size, good video & picture quality , and can be flown pretty much anywhere, and great real life battery last about half an hour!
Obviously depending on speeding conditions but in general.
I have the avata as it's quite a different experience but has its place ,but the mini 3 is the one I'm always using.
