Email them but to no avail. I'm moving back to Lebara.
You have the turkish plans; £15 = 5GB / £20 = 10GB / £25 = 15GB for roaming when in turkey on ur plans and obvious when in uk on them u get a nominal extra GB, but nothing compared to the deal we are on and many other dedicated uk GB deals.
and these GB deals it says a max of 12GB EU, but turk isnt in the uk or eu.
so how much would it cost to boost a decent dedicated uk GB like we speak on that favs uk folks and that be boosted for turkey usage for the odd occasion, do u offer packages? boosters? (edited)
I followed all of the instructions and inputted the data into the Sim Swap section of the Account Manager area on the Lyca Mobile website. I got the same error message as you, so I tried again and this time another QR code appeared and it asked me to scan it if the eSIM had not been activated.
A couple of days went by and the swap still hadn't taken place. I called Lyca Mobile Customer Services and they said that only the back office team could deal with the matter. So, I e-mailed them again and finally got a reply five days later.
I sent them screenshots of the error message and then completed their many mandatory questions to get them to process the sim swap.
Then I had a strange idea. My eSIM was active and it was taking incoming calls, but I hadn't registered it on the Lyca Mobile website. As I had ordered the eSIM while logged in, I thought that it would automatically register to my original account. Nope, that's not the case, so if you haven't filled in all the details to register an account on the Lyca Mobile website for your eSIM, do it and then carry out the sim swap on the original account you want to transfer to the eSIM account. After registering the eSIM, logging out, logging into the original account and then carrying out the sim swap form, the swap took place in a matter of minutes and there was no error displayed on their website.
It would be great if Lyca Mobile put a note up to say that when carrying out a sim swap, both SIM cards need to be registered with their own login details.
Please try again using the method above and let me know how you get on.
