Looks a very decent BBQ cover from reviews and description

  • PROTECTIVE COVERING - Keep your outdoor gas grill safe and clean, regardless of weather conditions. The grill cover is laminated and fully waterproof, letting the rain and sleet slide off its exterior instead of seeping in.
  • SIZED FOR YOU - Fits most grills up to 58" x 24" x 48". A strap allows you to adjust the cover to your grill size and keeps it in place against winds and storms. Obtain a neat, custom look and maximum coverage for your grill even if it is smaller than the cover size.
  • LONG-LASTING DURABILITY - Constructed of heavy-duty, durable 600D Oxford polyester with bound seams and high-density stitching, the grill cover can withstand use and abuse, protected against the outside elements.
  • ERGONOMIC FEATURES - Grill cover is designed with an air vent covered by a flap; condensation will be minimized, while keeping moisture out. The cover comes with a padded handle, enabling you to quickly and easily cover and uncover your grill.
  • ATTRACTIVE AND HEALTHY - This grill cover is smartly designed with an elegant-yet-muted gray. The lighter shade resists sunlight, bouncing off the rays and preventing the cover from fading. It is crafted of woven material free of harmful chemicals.

Received one of these yesterday, paid a little more, it's fitted over a Weber Q300 and 13kg bottle. It covers the gas bottle as well. Not the tightest cover, but the straps at the bottom help and overall I am pretty happy with it, considering how cheap it is. The fabric feels substantial also.

The main test will be how it copes with wind.

    Bought one of these Sept-21.

Not used the BBQ for past 18 months. Took the cover off a few weeks ago and it was ripping all over.

Likely UV damage, pretty rubbish for a BBQ cover.

Multiple reviews to verify this. (edited)

Any Oxford fabric is rubbish and will degrade massively with UV.

Brabantia do a washing line cover which lasted me years (it was still fine when I moved house so probably still going now) but you never see bbq covers etc made from it for some reason. Brabantia Premium Protective Cover for Rotary Dryer Washing Lines (Black) Weather-resistant Zip-Up Sleeve for all Brabantia Rotaries Standard, Assorted Colours,420405 amzn.eu/d/5…ViQ

The only thing I've found that doesn't degrade is marine canvas.

8th photo is what you have in mind when you buy the BBQ and 4th photo is the lived experience.

That guy isn't going to be doing much cooking with his implements with the cover on

Worth noting - be careful with any cover advertised as 600D fabric. Some are, some are clearly not. I was buying a cover for a parasol last week and I was comparing several 400's and 600's. I noted that some reviews were complaining of the thickness, which is odd given that all the 400's (or 600's) should be very similar at worst. I then started looking at weights (not easily found until you scan down to other details). I was shocked that all the 400's I was looking at ranged from 200 grams to 1000 grams. I know the sizes varied a little, but no where near enough to take account of those variables. I was looking at similar sizes for a 3M parasol. Conclusion is that some are not as advertised. I'm going to guess this is the same with any type of outdoor cover.

The heaviest one (1000g) was around £16 and the lightest one around £12. It does not always pay to buy so called 'offers' Do your homework
