What would people recommend... This or the galaxy book3

Not a Tech whizz, but this with a 8Gb has been on my "I want" list, cheaper now because the Book 3 is out. Also as the 3 was only recently released i think the price could still be a little on the high side ( i havent checked ). Budget has a big say for most people,or they will say this one is now old. What you want it for is a major reason too,so if you were able to say that then you will hopefully get a more balanced reply. MrPfister may have a valid point but unless he was to expand on what his gets used for and why its so poor it isnt very constructive for others. This would be over kill for my needs even the 8Gb version will be,but i like it.Only it has to drop a lot more before i think of getting one.

Is laptop outlet any good, compared to more well known online retailers?

I've got the 15" version and terrible battery life would be an understatement.
